Aladdin fell while out running with the other horses injuring his already injured leg (the one that was stepped on when he was a baby).  Unfortunately there was nothing that could be done for this beautiful boy.  He was peacefully euthanized with those that loved him by his side.  We love you beautiful boy.  Run free on legs that are straight and clean.

  Age 26+

Snickers passed away on 8 Apr 2008.  She just really seemed to miss her beloved companion, Oats.  We really feel that she decided to go to be with him.  She was spunky and eating fine at dinner time, but when we came out to feed the next morning, she had crossed the Rainbow Bridge.  There was no evidence of suffering.  She just looked as though she had laid down and gone to sleep.  Rest in Peace sweet Snickers.  Enjoy your new life with Oats running in green pastures.    

  Age 25+

Oats passed away last night (10 February 2008) at midnight.  We knew he would be crossing soon as he was often found staring out across the pasture.  His soul was ready and he was just waiting for his body to catch up.  Rest in Peace dear sweet Oats.   (this picture is of Oats touching noses with his companion Snickers (who is also 25+ years old).  Doesn't it seem as though they were saying goodbye?)
